7x + 6 > 1 + 2x

In order to solve this, we need to bring all of the x values to one side, we can do this by subtracting the 2x from both sides7x + 6 - 2x > 1 + 2x - 2x5x + 6 > 1 We then need to move the values onto the other side in order to calculate the value of x, if we subtract 6 from both sides5x + 6 - 6 > 1 - 65x > -5If we then divide both sides by 5 to get x by itself, x > -1
