Firstly simplify the equation down so all the elements are approximated to 1 significant figure, this gives us:0.1 x 502 / 41/2Then work out the values of the 502 and 41/2502= 250041/2=2Put these back into the equation and work out the answer:0.1x2500/2=250/2=125
