What things can I be asked about at interview (for Cambridge Economics)?

Interview questions can be divided into a number of areas:The personal statement: if you mentioned outside reading and/or wrote an essay prize entry, to summarise your argument and discuss further related ideas. This could also include other extra-curricular activities of note and their relevance to your chosen degree. Articles: often candidates are given a newspaper/journal article immediately before interview (e.g. 10-15 minutes) and could be asked to briefly summarise this article or discuss its key ideas. Mathematical: drawing unusual graphs given its function (e.g. y=(lnx)/x); brain teasers (e.g. how many socks to pick out of a drawer for x condition, angle between clock hands at x time in the day); Probability; Game Theory; Applying year 12 maths techniques to economic contexts.
