Explain how Bach's Saranbande and Gigue show that it is a typical Baroque Work.

Firstly, looking the melody regularly contains conjunct and diatonic melodies with ascending, descending and arch-like shapes. There is use of fortspinnung as the melody is repeated and spun out. The tessiatura is generally quite narrow as it is written for a baroque keyboard. Phrasing is regular and periodic. The rhythm is in a simple time signature with frequent use of quavers and semi quavers and these are steady throughout. All modulations are related as the piece moves to dominant, sub dominant and relative minor keys.
