Approaching multiple choice sections in such a fast-paced exam, where effectively the biggest challenge is to overcome the time limit, is all about efficiency of reading. I'd recommend two different techniques that would allow the test-taker to improve their understanding of the presented question in light of the questions asked. The first approach I'd recommend and personally used is to start by reading the questions asked after the paragraph, and then look for their answers in the text. This allows the reader to pinpoint the needed information and focus their attention on it specifically, rather than wasting time on filler text. This approach however does not exclude the need to read the whole text as LNAT questions often require an understanding of the paragraph as a whole. The approach simply allows the reader to eliminate factual question efficiently. The second approach simply introduces a skimming of the paragraph before reading the questions. This skimming allows the reader to grasp the text more fully before the actual focused reading, which allows for better performance in questions aimed at the text as a whole.
