Expand using binomial expansion (1+6x)^3

(1+6x)^3 = 1+3(6x) +(3)(2)(36x^2)/2 + (3)(2)(1)(216x^3)/6
= 1+18x+108x^2 + 216x^3

Solve the differential equation dy/dx=(y^(1/2))*sin(x/2) to find y in terms of x.

The line y = (a^2)x and the curve y = x(b − x)^2, where 0<a<b , intersect at the origin O and at points P and Q. Find the coordinates of P and Q, where P<Q, and sketch the line and the curve on the same axes. Find the tangent at the point P.

The equation of a line is y=3x – x^3 a) Find the coordinates of the stationary points in this curve, stating whether they are maximum or minimum points b) Find the gradient of a tangent to that curve at the point (2,4)
