How to structure an answer to a 6 mark question?

The response to a 6 mark question should be well balanced and include reference to scripture or religious texts to use as evidence. A helpful way to include all of these elements within an exam answer is to make sure to use the P.E.E method. This makes sure that you have a starting point that outlines one way of thinking, a piece of evidence that supports such view, for example a quote from biblical scripture, and finally an explanation. The explanation should be clear and and refer back to the question at hand to make sure it is being addressed adequately. This method makes sure to include all elements needed to offer one response to the question. There also should be another paragraph suggesting a contrasting point of view, that also includes a point, piece of evidence and explanation referring back to the initial question. A short conclusion would help to pull all of the responses to the question together to ensure a well balanced argument.
