The sides of a rectangle are x and (x+2), where x>0 the area of the rectangle is 8, what is the value of x?

X*(X+2) = 8X2 + 2X = 8X2 +2x-8=0 S 2P -8N 4, -2(X+4)(X-2)X=-4 X=2X can only be positive in this case so X=2
