I have neither friends or family who can speak Italian. How can I practice it?

1) Listen to music or watch movies, either original Italian movies or English movies dubbed in Italian to get used to how people speak, how they pronounce word and the intonation they use to change the meaning of words.

2) Take notes of all vocabulary or idiomatic expression you are not familiar with and look them up on a vocabulary.

3) Talk (aloud) to yourself: imagine you are having a conversation with somebody and speak in Italian. Learn to 'think' in Italian.
