Storage: Magnetic hard disc vs Solid state drive.

Magnetic hard discs are very old technology, which is now considered very cheap and has a great storage capacity. In the current industry, magnetic hard discs are used to backup data. Therefore, they are good for images, music or old files, which won't be accessed regularly. The access time is poor.Solid state drives are quite new to the industry and therefore, they are very expensive and have an extremely fast access time. Very useful for files which are accessed regularly, such as storing the computers OS (Operating System). Uses same technology as Flash, where there's no moving components.
