There are multiple ways this question can be answer.              Either ‘yes’ it was his war                             Or              ‘No’ it wasn’t Both have to look at it from a president standard              Would look at Eisenhower and Kennedy in one paragraph                          They both only sent advisers              Johnson in his own                             He did it despite not wanting to.                             Had Kennedy’s advisers - feels like he has no mandate-                             Was really only concentrated on his great society              then Nixon                             see that it is carried on after Johnson
