Outline 2 variables which may impact obedience.

There are a variety of variables that impact obedience. For example, external or situational variables could include the presence of a uniform being worn by the authority figure, this has been shown to increase obedience as it is likely to increase the perceived authority of the individual. Another variable that may impact whether a person is more susceptible to obedience is their locus of control, with people having an internal locus of control (meaning they believe they control their own fate) being less likely to obey than an individual with external locus of control.
