For a large-scale water management project, describe one cost and one benefit.

The Three Gorges Dam was built in China as a large-scale water management project. A benefit of the Three Gorges Dam is that it provides hydroelectricity to the surrounding area. A cost of the Three Gorges Dam is that a large number of people had to relocate to allow for the area behind the dam to be artificially flooded to create the reservoir.
