The Blake Mouton grid is a business model that is used to consider different management styles in relation to the level of concern taken for the employees versus the level of concern for production. The grid shows five different management styles by looking at the relation between the task orientation and employee orientation. This five styles are; Impoverished style, country club style, team style, produce-or-perish and middle of the road. Impoverished style is when the manager has little concern for the people or task and avoids all responsibility and accountability.Country club style is when the manager looks after the employees needs with no real pressure about meeting targets for tasks.Team style is when the manager shows high concern for both the employees and tasks and workers are seen as vital to achieve goals as a team.produce-or-perish is when managers want to control and treat the workers as resources like any other equipment needed.middle of the road is when the manager compromises between the concern for employees and tasks.
