Expand and simplify (3x^2 + 2)(2x + 5) – 6x(x^2 – 3)

First, multiply out 6x(x^2 - 3) so that it becomes – 6x^2 – 18xThen, multiply (3x^2 + 2) and (2x + 5) so that it becomes 6x^3 + 15x^2 + 4x + 10Add the two results above: 6x^3 + 15x^2 + 4x + 10 – 6x^3 – 18x Simplify it: x^3(6-6) + x^2(15) + x(4-18) +10 ==> 15x^2 –14x + 10

Solve the following simultaneous equations: 2x - y = 7 and x^2 + y^2 = 34

Factorise x^2 + 2x - 3

If x:y = 7:4 and x+y = 88 , work out the value of x–y.

Make F the subject of the formula: C= 5(F-32) / 9
