How do I structure an unseen poetry timed essay?

Read the text. Split your ideas into three points. It doesn't matter if they are not fully developed, even writing a one word bullet point is enough at this point. Have a different marker system for each bullet point. Read the text again but with the three distinct ideas in mind. Mark the text according to the categories of your ideas, adding more notes to your bullet points as you continue. Aim for 2 developed ideas or 3 less developed ones for each bullet point. Start writing and keep referring to your bullet point notes. If you have done this correctly you will constantly have something to write about and will be able to manage your time effectively.
