How might you use your body language and vocal tone to convey anger?

When conveying anger, I would tense my body, clenching my my fists with my back straight and rigid, so that the physical tension reflects the emotional tension in this moment. When moving my arms about, I would move them at speed and in short, swift movements, surreptitiously widening my eyes and following other characters on stage with rapid quick movements of my head, which combined would further convey my current volatile state. I would speak at a louder volume, and spit out the consonants in my lines, particularly plosive letters.

What does “stylised” mean?

Please name a live theatre production you have seen recently. Can you tell me what genre it was? What things do you see/hear that made you think it was this genre?

Select one design aspect (e.g. costume, set, masks, lighting, sound) and discuss how it contributed to the effectiveness of your devised piece.

How would you use lighting and sound effects to enhance this scene (for example Act 1 Scene 1 of Macbeth)
