How do I structure an essay?

At GCSE level essays should be structured with a simple Introduction- 3/4 paragraphs- Conclusion structure.Introduction: This should lay out your argument for the essay, and show how you will go about arguing your point. Paragraphs: You can use the PEEL format, Point, Evidence, Explanation, Link. You state your point, provide evidence such as quotes and examples, explain these in detail and explore them, and the link your point back to the question. Conclusion: Here you summarise your argument, directly answering the question, with regards to your points, however not repeating too much of what was said.
