Explain the pathway of MPS following resistance exercise?

The cellular mechanism for increases in MPS post exercise is regulated through the activation of downstream components of mTOR signalling pathway (4EBP1 Thr37/46 and S6K1 Thr389) (Dreyer et al., 2006). Stimulations of MPS are depicted via phosphorylation of mTOR at the Ser2448 AKT target site after one-hour post-exercise and S6K1 at Thr389 by two hours post exercise
