Discuss the nature and impacts of one or more earthquake events that you have studied (10marks)

Firstly break the question into 2:Nature of earthquake; characteristics, location and scale. For example 2010 Haiti earthquake, magnitude of 7.0 on the richter scale, epicentre 25 km from Haiti's capital city, depth of 13kmImpact of the earthquake; economic (such as cost of damage, how the government handled the situation, the economy years after the event, cost of repairing infrastructure) social (people effected, death toll, people made homeless, effects on schooling, children, illness, food, jobs, population pyramids and income) and environmental (contamination, wildlife ecosystems, farm land and rebuilding). For example in Haiti in socially 3 million people were effected with death tolls of around 100,000 this not only caused signification psychological damage but left the depleted population to attempt to rebuild the country. When writing make sure you have a clear structure, so with this question nature first then impacts. Write in full sentences and try fit in as many specific examples as you can.
