In a right angle triangle (where angle ABC is 90 degrees), you are given that angle /_ ACB is 14 degrees and length "AB" is 4. Find the length of "BC".

Using SOH CAH TOA, and labelling each side of the triangle, we see that we are using "TOA". We have the following: tan(14)=4/"BC". Rearranging for "BC", we get the following: "BC" = 4/tan(14), which we calculate to be "BC"= 16.043.
