How do you compare two different texts?

When comparing two texts there are a few things to consider:Form (what is it? what type of text? It could be: an article, blog, letter etc)Purpose (what is the author trying to do with the text? inform, persuade etc)Remember authors can have several purposes to their writing, for example could have blog post about the environment which would inform, but also persuade someone to recycle for example.Writing methods such as the tone, structure and languageIt is important to compare and contrast with saying what pieces of writing have in common as well as their differences.
