How do you integrate the term x^2?

When integrating terms that include a power, such as x2, there is a simple rule to remember. The rule is to add 1 to the power, and then divide the whole term by this number. For example, in the case, 2 is our power. Therefore, we need to add 1 to the power which is three, and then divide the whole term by three, as shown below.
Integrate: x2 = 1/3 * x3. (For info, I would write this out using the whiteboard so it was clearer).
