what is the difference between aerobic respiration and aerobic respiration

Aerobic respiration= glucose + oxygen --> carbon dioxide, water and ATP energy (higher yield than anaerobic)* this process happens in the cytoplasm and mitochondrion* the stages of it includes glycolysis, link reaction, Krebs cycle and electron transport chainAnaerobic respiration occurs when there is a lack of oxygen and makes lactic acid as a by product. ATP energy is made, however at a lower yield. * this process happens only in the cytoplasm* involves glycolysis and fermentation
