Describe what is meant by a stakeholder and the two types?

A stakeholder is an individual/group of people who are directly interested within a business. One type of stakeholder is an internal stakeholder. These are individuals/group within the business such as employees and owners who will have a common interest to what goes on in the business such as employee rota or how much revenue is made . The other type of stakeholder is an external stakeholder. These are individuals/groups outside the business such as customers and shareholders who will be commonly interested any decision the business makes such as what products to sell or how much dividends they will receive.
