What is the relationship between data, information and knowledge? Use an example

Data consists of raw facts and figures. An example of data is 154, 160 and 156.Information is data which has been processed by the computer system. An example of information is the height of three heights school students in cm.Knowledge is derived from information by applying rules to it. An example of knowledge is that 160cm is the biggest value, therefore meaning that the student with that height is the tallest out of the three.
