PHYSICS A LEVEL Explain why, when a red giant becomes a white dwarf, it moves towards the lower left of the Hertzsprung-Russell diagram [2]

The fusing red giant shell drifts away form the core forming planetary nebula. Leaving only very hot core (white dwarf) (1) The core is hotter than the shell , the star moves left on the diagram. (1) Luminosity decreases because the only emitted photons are formed in earlier stages of evolution and therefore have less energy (1)

A rocket travels at 500m/s two minutes after its take-off. If it was initially stationary, calculate its acceleration. If the rocket has a mass of 1800kg, what force is required to give it an acceleration of 2m/s^2?

What are the definitions of a)voltage and b)current?

According to Newton's third law, every action has an equal and opposite reaction. Why then does a box move when I push it? Shouldn't the two opposing forces cancel out to a zero net force?
