A ball is kicked from a tower (50m) at a speed of 20m/s. How far away does the ball hit the ground?

time is equal to time in free fall i.e. 50m=0.5gt^2 -> t=root(50m*2/g)=1.019s

horizontal distance is then tv= 1.019s20m/s=20.38m
