Resistance to antibiotics is increasing. How can we help prevent antibiotic resistance developing? (2 marks)

1 mark up to a total of 2 from: Doctors should not over prescribe antibiotics, e.g. for viral illness such as the common cold. Patients should ensure they complete their full antibiotic prescription, even if they start to feel better before the end of the course, to ensure all bacteria are killed. Agricultural (farming) use of antibiotics must be controlled legally.
