What is the difference between competitive and non competitive inhibitors?

Competitive inhibitors have a similar shape to the substrate and they compete with the substrate to bind to the enzymes active site. When they bind to the active site, they block the substrate from binding. Non competitive inhibitors bind to the enzyme at a place away from the active site. This changes the shape of the active site so the substrate cant bind to the active site.
