Find the points where f(x)=x^2-5x-14 meets the x-axis and find the turning point

Set x^2-5x-14=0. So (x-7)(x+2)=0So function meets x-axis at (-2,0) and (7,0).
To find turning point, differentiate function and set equal to 0.2x-5=0. So x=5/2. Substitute x=5/2 into f(x) to give y coordinate. This gives y= -81/4.So turning point is (5/2, -81/4)
