How much reading should I aim to do before attending a medical school interview?

A very small percentage of the typical medical school interview will assess your wider reading.

Often your interviewer will be more interested to see whether you have the traits and qualities of a future doctor. So what exactly are they looking for? In other words, what makes a good doctor? In my opinion, a good doctor or medical student is one who is:

- Dedicated

- Punctual and reliable

- Confident

- Approachable

- Compassionate

- Hard working and driven

for example.
