What is the Subjunctive in Spanish?

The Subjunctive is a mood, not a tense, and is used to express doubt, desire, thoughts, wishes, etc...anything that reflects how the speaker feels in reaction to the the action that takes/has taken/will take place...
There are three things that may trigger the subjunctive:Different subjects in the clausesRelative pronoundifferent verbs for different subjects
