Solve 7(k-3)=3k-5

First we need to multiply out the bracket

7k-21=3k-5

Then we must make sure our variable is only on one side so we need to deduct 3k from both sides

4k-21=-5

Now we should isolate our variable so add 21 to both sides of our equation

4k=16

Finally dividing by 4 gives us k alone

k=4
