How do I start writing my personal statement?

Starting is the hardest. The introduction is crucial to grab the admission tutor's attention and thinking of a good line might take a while, and stop you from even starting on your personal statement (PS), so maybe start writing from the middle.

You need to answer these questions in your PS: Why are you applying for this course? What makes you suited to do this course? What proves you are passionate about it? What research have you done to make sure this is the right choice for you?

To cover this, a possible structure to the PS would be: introduction, work experience, extra-curricular activities, and conclusion.

Don't leave it to the last minute. Once you get down some ideas, in a list or a mind map, it will get easier.
