15/7 + 5/4

Find the lowest common denominator between the two fractions, which is 28 (74 = 28).Multiply the fractions numerator (15 and 5) by the same number that you have used to multiply the denominator when finding lowest common denominator (74 =28). Therefore, 15 will be multiplied by 4 resulting in the numerator to be 60. (154 = 50).Then 5 will be multiplied by 7 resulting in the other fractions numerator to be 35.(75 = 35)Add the two numerators of the fractions over the lowest common denominator (28) to achieve the answer. 60/28 + 35/28 = 95/28.
