How should I structure my essay?

Before you answer your exam question, take 5 minutes to plan out your structure. This should include a short introduction to the points that you will be discussing in your essay, making sure that they are in chronological order to your original source or at least make sense relatively to the question. A basic essay usually contains 4 main body paragraphs; linking each point from one to the next. Finally, a conclusion must summarise these points in relation to answering the exam question, without including any new information.
