make into a cartesian equation= x=ln(t+3) y= 1/t+5

e^x= t+3 t= e^x -3therefore y= 1/e^x-3+5y= 1/e^x+2

By integrating, find the area between the curve and x axis of y = x*exp(x) between x = 0 and x = 1

2 equations intersect each other, y = x + 2 and y = x^2. Find the area of the shaded region between the points of intersection giving your answer to 3 significant figures. (shaded region will be shown)

Sketch, on a pair of axes, the curve with equation y = 6 - |3x+4| , indicating the coordinates where the curve crosses the axes, then solve the equation x = 6 - |3x+4|

Solve the equation 2(cos x)^ 2=2-sin x for 0 <=x<=180
