How to find the turning point on a curve?

The equation of the curve will be a quadratic i.e. it follows the form y=ax2+bx+cTo find the turning point, the quadratic will need to be solved using the completing the square method. This means to factorise the quadratic in such a way so that you can get a(x+b/2)2+c-b2/4.The turning point will be (-b/2,c-b2/4).
