Draw the full structual diagram of ethyl-ethanoate, labeling relevent bond angles and explain why the molecule has this structure.

(unable to draw diagram and upload in this format) ethyl ethanoate has the semi structural formula of CH3COOCH2CH3. According to electron repulsion theory the bond angle around the second carbon atom would be 120 degrees for all 3 bonding groups as this is the maximum achievable angle between the covelently bonded electron groups. For all other carbons within the structure the bond angles are 109.5 degrees as the maximum bond angle for 4 areas of electron density around an atom in 109.5 degrees.
