(2x3/2y-1)n = Ax6yB First of all both sides need to be written in the same format so simplify the left hand side. 2n (x3/2)n (y-1)n We are given the power of x is 6 so we can write and equation and solve to find n. x3n/2 = x6 Ignore the x as that is a constant value 3n/2 = 6 so 3n = 12 and n = 4 Now substitute n to find A and B. 24= 16 and y-1x4= y-4 This means n=4, A=16 and B=-4
