The parental DNA is unwound from its double helix structure.DNA Helicase enzymes break hydrogen bonds between the bases of the parental DNA.DNA polymerase enzymes add free nucleotides to the daughter strands using complementary base pairing.Leading strand synthesised continuously whereas lagging strand synthesised in fragments.DNA Ligase enzymes seal fragments.This forms two identical daughter strands.
