The diameter of a circle is 14cm, work out its area

The formula for the area of a circle is π x r2 and the radius of the circle (r) is found when you divide the diameter (given in the question) by 2. Therefore, when plugging in the radius (14 divided by 2 = 7) >>> π x (72) your answer would be 49π cm2 or 154 cm2 to 3 s.f
