Medicine is Hard. How are you able to balance this out?

So Here you need to recognise that it is hard and it is time consuming and say why (be specific about the course) Afterwards you would go onto your previous experience. Something at school that required a lot of work or a club you were part of etc. Then follow it up by saying how it was hard and how it was hard to balance. Then go on to say why work life balance is important and how you would balance it by demonstrating what you do now to balance your life like music and sports and say why you do them what about it you enjoy and then how it is relevant to your course. For example Yes I agree medicine is a very hard subject. I have some experience with this as at school I organised a school trip to Cornwall. It was a lot of work on top of my A-levels and I found it a big struggle. I think with this experience I have some understanding of the time consuming nature of the course. Work-life balance is important to maintain your mental and physical health and prevent burn out. I did this at school by being part of a choir as it means one hour a week I don't need to think about work and just relax. This also allows me afterwards to really concentrate. However I don't always have loads of time so I always try to do something small like go for a walk or a run if I feel it is getting on top of me.
