First of all - read the question very carefully and try to identify the main points in order to see what exactly you're being asked about so that you will answer the question clearly. Furthermore, pick two to three points you want to argue for or against the prompt. Remember that you have max. 250 words, so pick the points wisely. Quality matters more than quantity, so if you have one great argument that you want to go into detail about - go for it! Examiners will pay attention to the degree of development of each argument, so remember that after mentioning a stance there should always be a couple of sentences backing it up which go after it. Lastly, avoid pointless rambling. Make sure that your personal statement, even though it is "just expressing your opinion" it should be done in a concise, essay-like manner, hence structure is highly important.
