What are persuasive language techniques to use when writing a persuasive letter?

There are several persuasive writing techniques, but today I will focus on three and we can practice using them to write effectively together. The first technique is to use flattery language, where you compliment your audience. An example of such language would be to say, "a person of your intelligence deserves much better than this." Another technique commonly and effectively used in persuasive writing is to cast your opinion - a personal viewpoint often presented as if fact - for example, "in my view, this is the best thing to have ever happened." A third technique is to use rhetorical questions, one which implies its own answer - for example, "who doesn't want success?". Rhetorical questions can be used one after another to impact on the audience. Now we can work together to create other examples.
