How do I respond at length to such a simple question, e.g. <<Est-ce que vous avez des projets pour le week-end?>>?

A common unseen question in oral tests at GCSE level, which requires a two-step approach:1) a) Give an initial answer, of one sentence, if you can think of an idea immediately OR b) Stall for time and compose your thoughts. Memorise phrases to express uncertainty and employ them in this situationThe key thing here is NOT to stumble clumsily about for words, but to demonstrate a confident grasp of the conversation a) Oui, je vais faire... je voudrais rendre visite à ma tante… etc. b) Je n'ai pas déjà considéré le week-end, mais j'imagine que...2) Give the examiner a reason, an opinion or anything to justify what you have just said. This is how you lengthen the response to such short question. It is also where the majority of the marks are found. This is a VITAL component in your answer. *** To really hit the markscheme, try to fit more than one tense into your answer to showcase the variety of your skills!***e.g.a) parce que/ car je ne la pas vois depuis quelques années et il m'est très important de conserver des rapports familiaux b) j'irai au parc avec mon chien. J'aime bien sortir le chien et il est bon pour la santé.
