A wheelbarrow is lifting a load of 150N at a distance of 50cm from the pivot. Calculate the turning effect

The turning effect (or moment) of a force can be calculated using this equation:
moment of a force = force (F) x perpendicular distance from the pivot (d)
So in this case, the moment = 150 x 0.5 (measured in metres) = 75Nm
