A race across America is 3096.25 miles. Juan knows from a previous race that his average speed is 15.12 miles per hour. If he cycles for 8 hours per day, how many days will it take him to finish the race?

Firstly we should get the answer distance Juan can cover per day. We know Distance = Speed * Time so the distance per day = 15.12 miles per hour * 8 hours = 120.96 miles per day.Once we know this we can find the number of days to finish the race:Number of days = Total distance / distance per day = 3096.25/15.12 = 25.6 days. The solution to the problem!
