How did the Tsar survive the 1905 Revolution? (10 marks)

When writing a GCSE ten marker it is crucial to consider the STRUCTURE, as this is key in helping you get full marks. For OCR GCSE three factors will be identified for you. For other boards, identify three key factors. In this case, for example, you could use 1) compromise, 2) strength of his support and forces and 3) the Fundamental Laws.
You would structure it first by starting with a short introduction, in which you would clearly identify the main factor- say for example the strength of his support.Follow this introduction with three short PEE paragraphs, one for each of the factors that the question identified or that you identified. Keep ensuring that you link back to the factor you have identified as the most important.End with a conclusion in which you reassert why you have chosen the factor you chose.Remember that all of the factors are important and the aim is not to argue that they aren't- only that one is MORE or MOST important.
